Automotive Interiors


Phase change materials can be used in conjunction with traditional environmental controls in passenger cars. By incorporating CrodaTherm™ microencapsulated phase change materials into car interiors, a significant thermal regulation effect can be achieved, whilst reducing the energy required to do so from traditional techniques. Further, traditional climate control systems such as seat heaters and air conditioning systems can be reduced in weight and size, increasing the overall running efficiency of the vehicle.
