Consumer Waste Heat Recovery

White good such as washing machines and dishwashers use significant amounts of energy to heat water for cleaning. This heat is lost when the water is drained for the rinse cycle.  A store of CrodaTherm ™ bio-based phase change material within the appliance can capture heat from wastewater and re-use it for the incoming cold water supply, saving energy.
