Are you sure you want to remove from the sample cart?
Unlike cars with internal combustion engines, purely electric vehicles do not generate waste heat that can be recovered and used to heat the cabin. In cold climates, heating the cabin of an electric car can reduce the total range by up to 60%. CrodaTherm™ bio-based high temperature phase change materials can be used to store heat energy captured whilst charging, that can then be utilised during the journey. This removes the need for the car to use energy from the battery to heat the cabin, increasing the total driving range.
