CrodaTherm™ 24W

CrodaTherm 24W is a water insoluble organic phase change material derived from plant-based feedstocks and has the form of a crystalline wax or oily liquid (depending on temperature).

CrodaTherm 24W provides thermal transition ranges that are broader than is typical of CrodaTherm PCMs and also exhibits a very small range between melting and crystallisation temperatures (low hysteresis). CrodaTherm 24W is therefore an excellent solution in applications with an operational range of around 18 – 25ºC.

Applications include thermally regulated packaging for pharmaceuticals and building cooling.
